Joint Media Release: Field Days for Macleay Landholders

Last year North Coast Local Land Services combined forces with Kempsey Shire Council, Macleay Landcare Network and selected industry professionals to deliver Field Days at Willawarrin and Gladstone community halls. Due to the success of the Field Days in 2016 we are doing it again this year in March.

The Field Days will provide landholders in the upper and lower Macleay River catchment specialist information, advice and networks targeted to local issues – all in one room at two convenient locations – Willawarrin on 10 March and Gladstone on 17 March.

10 March at Willawarrin Hall

There is something for everyone - success stories of community projects funded in 2016, best practice advice and resources to manage invasive pest animals plus a range of agricultural and land management specialists to improve your access to information, available programs and networks for the coming year.

The District Veterinarian, Biosecurity staff and Landcare representatives will be there to provide information and answer your questions. Local innovator Jeremy Bradley will also be available to update and attend to enquiries on Giant Parramatta Grass biological control.

Agenda: 9:30 am morning tea start, finish with BBQ lunch at 1:00 pm
